Watford Wargaming Federation

So at 6pm today I headed down to my local Games Club, The Watford Wargaming Federation for the first time in about 10-12 Years.

Turns out i still know many of the people which go there but dew to it being the first week after the Clubs 2nd move in 2 months there was only 15 or so people there.

I was even lucky enough to get a game in, was it Oldhammer related?.. UM NOPE! So what did i play?

Each player controls between one (for 6 players) and four (solo game) survivors, human trapped in a zombie-infested town. In fact, "survivors" quickly change to "hunters" to smash zombies through and through. However, the team must constantly maintain a balance between survival and slaughter, for as the zombicide continues, the Danger Level increases, and the infected grow in numbers. Any misstep can turn to disaster.
Zombicide is a fun and easy game with cool miniatures in an archetypical, popular and comics-inspired environment. Ambiance is constantly balanced between "beat'em up" and "survival horror" as survivors keep switching from prey to predators. Humour and gloom happily marry in a zombie-fest.

I have to say it was a lot of fun, with 5 players all working together to complete the Objectives which we managed to do at the cost of everybody apart from 1 survivor (played by my mate Kris).

So next week i head back down for the first GLOGG game so I shall keep you all informed of that game.
