Good Morning Vietnam!
What?
China is close enough right?
It isn't Morning?
Bollocks to you!
So it's been 15 days since the last WW2/BoB Chinese update (Blog post HERE) and the force was just starting to look like something other than a random collection of figures, now though it's almost a small gaming force.
I slightly changed the basing from last time and added snow for some contrast and I feel it's worked.
What do you think?
The Banners I'm not happy with, I couldn't find any suitable for sale I'm afraid and as I don't own a printer was unable to print any out (Maybe you dear viewers can print me some out and post them too me? Pleeeeeeeeeeeease, I have Candy!), so I had to made do with rough hand painted ones.
So whats next? I have a handful of figures left included a few converted LMG's which I need to finish from my first trade plus I ordered a fairly large order from Northstar which includes Cav, Big Sword Swords and Bandits/Levy.
Another trade on The Lead Adventure Forum also nabbed be 2 Field Guns and another Officer which is flying to me via airmail.
So after all that I fancy some Armour as well I just love it, so maybe a Panzer 1 and a 222 Armoured Car will be in order.
Anyway, comments always welcome!
Ta Ta for now!
Terrific looking unit. Pulp era China is an interesting subject. Miserable, snowy setting is a nice for them.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's a strange era BoB China just about leads into Sino-Jap War/ WW2 along with fixing in a host of Pulp style games and even RCW.
DeleteI seem to base everything in snow these days, it's just easy and I'm a lazy fecker.
They are superb! Lovely job!
ReplyDeleteThank you Flash Gordon :D
DeleteThose are sweet Chico and coming along just nicely! The snow bases will fit in with the snow scenery that no doubt you've got/made to fit the rest of your Bolt Action armies, right? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, but alas I don't have my own gaming table so I have no scenery anymore. I should really have a moan at my gaming club though to get a snow table and scenery hehe.

ReplyDeleteI'd print one for you once my latest inks arrive from Epson. Darned grandkids and their hidden printing.
Thanks I now have that link book marked :D That's also very kind about the printing the flag and I would be rather grateful and and of course cover all costs from printing/posting :D
DeleteGot to love the grey, really stands out nicely against the white bases, lovely work Chico.
ReplyDeleteThank you Yoshywashy :)
