So It's that time of year again where I managed to get a day off work and headed up too Warlord Games HQ for their annual Antares Day.
Once again I didn't join in the Events tournament as it's not my cup of tea.
But thanks too a little bit of begging the nice chaps I did get the event minis:

A new Gates army The Virai a race of AI was also on display, those who went to Salute saw and had the chance to buy the pre-release pack of 2 Drones but it was the first time the full force was on display and are currently on Pre-order along with the supplement book The Dronescourge Returns.

Now there was a major cock up by Warlord and they didn't have any Dronescourge books for sale which was what was promised which Simon a fellow member of the Herts Shard and who I travelled up with was rather disappointed about.
I did however get a game in on one of the Open Tables my Rebel Ghar against Simon's cheaty dirty Freeborn scum đ (I won though muahaha).
(Most pictures taken by Simon, yay for non-blurry pictures).
Their was also the seminar by Tim and Rick and is handily filmed and posted on Youtube as despite only being 2 rows back couldn't bloody hear Rick at all.
Speaking of videos on the Warlord HQ Store FB page there is a video posted of the day and at around 7min mark shows me just finishing the game with Simon and gloating a tad.
So overall how was the event?
Compared too last years it just wasn't as good, it seemed rather thrown together and tables looked rather tired.
A key number of people and personal friends from last year has since quit Gates and they were rather missed and honestly it showed.
Was it worth 4/5 hours travel?
Not really, no new loot to buy and was lacking.
Will I go next year? Meh.. maybe?
That's it, thanks for looking and Ta Ta for now.
