Necromunda: Battle Report - Redemptionists Vs Scavvies

Inquisitor Scythe watched as the settlement of Burnitdown prepared for the wave of mutant scum about to crash against their walls. The Pit Slave revolt had weakened the Holy Cult and made a hole in the walls for the dregs to assail though... Ohh today there will be blood and fire.. yes the fire shall cleanse!

Well following on from the last Battle Report (Seen HERE) the settlement is now under seige from a gang of Mutants and it's now looking for the weakened Redemptionists.

As such all Bottletest are on hold until 50% Cas rather then the normal 25%

The Redemptionist set up in the centre with the Scavvies surrounding them on 3 sides.

Win to the Redemptionists.. just. The Flamer totting Deacon burning down 2 Scavvies and pinning a Scummer and a Scaly more or less stopped the Scavvy advance. The winged Scavvy flying over the walls and taking out  the Inquisitor with a blunderbuss shot (Plus 3 to hit at close range), then the Novice with autopistol returning the favour in the following turns. The Priest and the Scacy battling it out for a few turns was also fun and still ending in a stalemate at the end of the game.

  1. Cool stuff Chico, your necromunda stuff is really inspired. For some reason I've been thinking about looking into old grenadier figures from the Gamma World range. Those Warfactory cultists look like they would fit right in.

  2. Yeah badass, yhanks for making it happen. Great lookin terrain, gangs and photos.
A very long time ago I played scavvies, you've got to remember to make those leader follower rolls, if u get the dogs you're laughing, control zones around your leader become nearly impossible to breach. And scalies gotta have the harpoon gun because when it hits damn does it ever hit! Especially if your opponent does the old stick a juve in front of a heavy, their piercing rule is a wonderous thing....

    1. Aye that's the revised Scavvy Gang list with leader followers. I'm using the outlander rules because they are better heh and I can arm scavvies with shotguns in this list.

  3. That game looks cool. The 3D game you used here is something I still have to achieve. I like this!
