Not too much painting done the last few days I'm afraid just a few and a few more undercoated. But I did finish 4 Huscarls (Banner, Horn and 2 Dane-Axes).
They are plastics by Wargames Factory Saxon Thegns costing about 45p each (£15 for 32), they are Ok but nothing special but do look better then I was expecting.
The kit is a pain in the ass but for the cost I can't really complain and I'm quite tempted to grab a box of there Viking Bondi and Saxon Fryd to use as a Viking Warband and some Levy for the Anglo-Danish.
My Huscarls are armed with Dane Axes and to help reinforce the fact they are the elite/better equipped of the Warband they have been given Kite Shields while Warriors will use rounds.
