Necromunda: Battle Report - Redemptionists Vs Scavvies

Inquisitor Scythe watched as the settlement of Burnitdown prepared for the wave of mutant scum about to crash against their walls. The Pit Slave revolt had weakened the Holy Cult and made a hole in the walls for the dregs to assail though... Ohh today there will be blood and fire.. yes the fire shall cleanse!

Well following on from the last Battle Report (Seen HERE) the settlement is now under seige from a gang of Mutants and it's now looking for the weakened Redemptionists.

As such all Bottletest are on hold until 50% Cas rather then the normal 25%

Necromunda: Battle Report - Redemptionists Vs Pit Slaves

Snarling Rat former Chief of the Spotted Dog Tribe now outcast Badskin heard rumours of a Pit Slave rebellion near the Redemptionist Output of Burnitdown. Maybe he can use it for his advantage and remove the Zealots from his holy sacred hive.

So today my and my other half managed to get a game in, it;s her fault as she mentioned I havn't used the scenery she bought me for my last birthday.. So Ha! Game time!

She took the Redemptions while I took a few Pit Slaves along with Snarling Rat one of my Badskins, As always we took what we liked rather then doing a Roster as it was played as a stand alone game

Wargaming Scenery: Underhive Pt.1

As some of you may remember last year my Wife bought me a couple of sets of the Mantic Deadzone terrain for my Birthday (Blog post)

Now while I made a start on them and tried taking a number of shortcuts and had a major mishap I just ended up putting them aside and got on with painting something else.

That was until I saw Paul's wonderful modern adaptation of the classic GW Firebase using Mantic parts (Can be view here).

With that in mind I started on mine again, which though up another question:

Do you base your terrain?

After a discussion on the Oldhammer Facebook group I went with yes, and ordered some 2mm MDF on the recommendation of Warlord Paul.

So I got cracking and finished 1 small and 1 medium sized piece:

Turned up the light, as they are quite dark and dirty in real life.
