It's been a few weeks since my last Blog post and that's just due to the weather getting and I use the scientific term here ''Fecking Cold'' and my hands not wanting to do what they'll told.

But I have managed to get a couple of games of 40k in with my Traitor Guard and painted a few more bits for my Twilight Kin.

I don't know about you feckers but I enjoy a Army shot when people are doing WIP Blogs just to show you how things are coming along so today's post is just that.

So despite my Mother and Aunt being up from Devon taking up alot of my free time I've still managed a small amount of hobby time and most of it with the Dark Elves.

Well what do we have here then?

A merging of interests I guess, as you may well know I love both WhFB3 era Dark Elves and Kings of War.

So why not combine them?

Now in KoW Evil Elves are known as Twilight Kin and in current lore (Subject to change at somepoint) are aligned with the Abyss.

So Demons and Evil Elves, whats not too love?

Now I already had some Dark Elves painted from a few years ago in a 2 tone paint scheme that I liked at the time but my paintings improved from then so needed repainting.

Tale of 4 Oldhammer Gamers - Pt.10: 20 Half Orcs

So my counts this is my final To4OG's post as these takes me up too 1000pts .

Note I missed posting a month due to camera problems, but I still painted up a Hobgoblin Battle Standard in that month which hasn't yet been shown but I'm saving him for next month as part of a full army shot.

Right this month I repainted my Half Orcs clothes and cloaks which I first painted for Orctober 2013.

Much happier with them now.

Just need to finish a movement tray and I'm calling it a day.

Boy going for a horde army for To4OG wasn't my cleaverest move hehe

Evil Dead: Army of Darkness Pt.1

As mentioned in the last post I've been busy painting up a Evil Dead inspired KoW Undead army.

It seems I now have enough to show, this is a slow burn project and one I'm not spending much money on (90% came out of my bits box or unstarted projects (Fireforge Templars).

Tale of 4 Oldhammer Gamers - Pt.6 - Hobgoblin Army

'Ello my sexy and lovable readers of OoaB!

To refresh your memory the 4 of us (James from Realm of Chaos 80's, Steve from Eldritch Epistles & The Warlord named as Paul from The Blackhole) are all taking part in a Oldhammer version of the iconic Tales of 4 Gamers.

The end reasult will be a 4 way Battle Royal at Bring Out Your Lead 2016.

This is now my 3 months instalment (I'm working one month ahead of everyone else at current).

So this is my complete force so far around 300-350 points (Yup Hobbos are cheap).

Painting Citadel Judge Dredd Part 13 - East-Meg 2 Hit Squad

Following on from the last post (HERE) I've been cracking on with the formerly unreleased figures and turning them into the East-Meg 2 Hit Squad.

Painting Citadel Judge Dredd Part 11 - Repainting the Judges

It's been awhile since I posted up any new Judge Dredd but I have been busy cracking on with them. But rather then doing anything new I've been repainting the Judges as I was never happy with them with the straight yellow/black.

I've now been repainting and adding in extra detail.

This is all sparked by me running my annual Judge Dredd game at Bring Out Your Lead.

This year game is based on  the ''Day the Law Died'' story arc with Chief Judge Cal, SJS, The brainwashed Judges and the Mercenary Klegg facing off against Dredd & Co, The Tutors and various loyal Citizens along with anti-Cal protesters.

Heroquest - Heroes

As with all the others for this project the Heroes all had a painting time limit of just 20mins each to stop myself going crazy.

The sculpts are really bad and the paint job isn't much better but at least they are done. Can't have unpainted Heroes running around eh?

Fimir Project Reboot Pt.1

Over 2 years ago now was the last time I took paint to brush for my Fimir army, I fell out of love for the ''Rape Demons'' I'm afraid. 

Maybe it was painting layer after layer of brown or lack of focus on the direction taken. A large part was dew to the limited options both figure wise and army list (I was at that point still playing current WhFB and was using WoC list to count them as).

While Oakbound Minis came along way to counter act the lack of figures with their wonderful Marsh Demon range for The Woods RPG and Geoff also sent me a free set of them too boot. But my desire for the rappy ones soon slowed down... 

Until now, It's reboot time!

Necromunda: Scavvies ''Slaughtercore Entertainment'' Pt.2

Been a little while since we had a Necromunda post as I've been busy balancing half a dozen projects that all want some Chico patterned brand lovin'.

The last week I've been ill with a nasty flu/chest infection which also hit me on the same day as my Wedding Anniversary  meaning that was a wash out too Gah!

Anyway yesterday to get myself back into painting I've painted a nice Confronation Leader sent to me from Mr Casey as gift :)

I hate Sundays they are bloody boring, so I sat at the hobby desk and thought about painting. Plenty of projects to finish or even start heh. But no instead I decided to have a dig in the stack of boxes I bought on a whim or on the off chance I'll use them. 

You know the type of boxes, the Mantic crazy boxes or the blisters of Reaper Bones, that type of often forgot about buy.

So it's been a few days since the last post and that wasn't by choice, it was more down to fact what I had painted in the last few days I really wasn't happy with and ended up getting binned as a idea.

It's ok though I did get a few bits I'm happy with and in the next day or so should have another Battle Report up.

So I'm still in the middle of Necromunda fever (Knew that was a bad batch of Slaught) and I now have 4 gangs being worked on at once (Pit Slaves, Redemptionists, Ratskins & Scavvies) to go with my other gangs already done over the years.

It's been a month since the last BB  painting update as I took a little break away from the pink side to paint something less ''Arhhhh my eyes!''

But I have finished painting the Coach and another mutated Chaos Warrior.

Necromunda: Pit Slaves Pt.4

The Pit Slaves have not been forgotten  and work continues on the ever growing gang, i just can't stop adding figures from the lead pile. While it's nice to get the leadpile smaller I should be finishing other projects first heh.

Full gang so far, 3 left to finish.

Painting continues on the El Pinko's with 2 more Beastmen finished (Almost just need to finish a base) and 2 Beastmen converted up from Ral Partha figures. I've also half way though converting up my version of Max Spleenripper Star Player.

Full painted team so far
