Painting continues on the El Pinko's with 2 more Beastmen finished (Almost just need to finish a base) and 2 Beastmen converted up from Ral Partha figures. I've also half way though converting up my version of Max Spleenripper Star Player.

Citadel & Beastface Beastmen |
Rather happy with the Beastman Thrower conversion (Heh thats a novel idea.. Chaos throwing the ball). The other Beastmen just had weapons removed and arms bent into shape.
Enjoy and as always feel free to comment
Those are really great Chico, I love the colour sche. The three armed guy is fantastic too. SOme three armed models look a bit goofy, but the best ones look confusing, like they are pulling two poses simultaneously, like that guy.
ReplyDeleteThe flesh tone on that guy is nice and subtle too. Is it pure grey or is there a little blue in it (it might be the light).
Thanks mate, there is a touch of Blue Glaze (Maybe 5-10% of the grey mix) in the first 2 grey mix layers maybe that's what's coming though.
DeletePaul said it already - the skin tone on the 3-armed beast is great. Very nice work - you're doing a great job in pulling the disparate models together with a coherent colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteThanks mate, its good fun running with some many makers and theming them together.
DeleteVery cool looking team. Love the colours
ReplyDeleteThanks mate, bright and still dark at the same time :)
DeleteI like pink (yeah, I know, few men will admit that) so I think you've done a fine job on these! I also have a soft spot for the three-arm beastmen.
ReplyDeletePink to make the girls wink! I really love that Beasty boy too :)
