Today I had to chance to play a game on 15mm Sci Fi using the USEME rules set and I have to say I was rather impressed even though we made some mistakes with the ELAN ratings. I also got to use all my terrain I had painted which is also nice. 

Inquisitor Thrush sat in his well padded chair as he pondered the latest report of Cult activity at the Outpost of Itchy Krak. The Cult had been almost wiped out once by the Ork invasion and the hiring of The Torg Bounty Hunters, but alas they have sprung up once again this time with the minions of the Dark Gods by their side.

There is only 1 answer... Virus Bomb.

Following from last Wednesdays 15mm update post (viewed HERE) I've been busy working on alot of more 15mm toys for a game on the 14th using the USEME: Sci-Fi rules set (which can be bought from 15mm.co.uk).

A lot of the bits won't be used but it's giving me then urge to finish them regardless.

2014 Round Up: Part 2

So part 2 of the 2014 round up then, I'm rather proud of my Hobby and always happy to show off to the internet and friends.

6mm & 15mm:

This year I broke away from my standard 28mm gaming to try my hand at both 6mm & 15mm, both of which I'm rather addicted too now.

6mm wise I completed 2 Epic Armies (Genestealer Cult & Orks) & alot of scenery.

I HAVE A PLAN!

and a empty wallet...

So as you may have seen from Tuesdays POST that I fell hard for 15mm and while I'm still waiting for the CP Models Orcs to turn up I've ended up going on 15mm.co.uk and buying a large chunk of bits and pieces

But.. But.. I HAVE A PLAN!

The plan is simple and allows me to get to paint small amounts and get the most from both the scale and cheapness. I'm going to build a number of small Gangs/Warbands of no more then 10 figures (To start with) and less for Elites.

No rules will be used when building these and I will be building to a common theme, whatever I like the look of and would love to paint.

I have 4 Warbands planned so far, you seen of them already my Space Ork Freebooters, well here's the next 3:

The Aftermath of BOYL14: Part 2 - Epic,The War of the Beards!

So with the GMing of the Judge Game done and lunch of a Baked Potato in my belly I moved on to the first of my Epic games.

First game was my Genestealer Cult Vs Richard ''Terminator'' Legg's Pointy Ears O' Doom

So with BOYL14 only 9 days away I still find myself with alot of painting to finish including 2 Epic armies and Scenery.

Anyway the Cult is now 50% or more finished, and while I love them they are a feking chore to paint unlike the Orks which so much faster.

Me I have now finished my 3rd and final Ork Buggy and have finished the Kult of Speed. I'm I going to stop there? Ummm no! Next will either be some Grots to finished of the Herd or maybe Squig Katapult or 2.

Arhhh Wednesday and Thursday saw my my painting slow down dew to to various reasons. Wednesday I went to my Local Gaming Club Watford Wargaming Federation which saw my Chaos Dwarves run riot over there rival Vanilla Dwarfs (He had 3 Dwarves left at the end of the game). Thursday saw my TV aerial finally being fixed after 11 days with no telly (Sadness).

But I did finish of my Skorcha and half a Warbuggy, so it wasn't a total lose.
