Great long weekend, I'm alot money poorer but both lead and soul richer.

First I just like to thank those which gave me transport (Richard and Paul), those who put great time into setting this up both be it games or just general running/setting up for without people like you this wouldn't be so great.

Painting Citadel Judge Dredd Part 11 - Repainting the Judges

It's been awhile since I posted up any new Judge Dredd but I have been busy cracking on with them. But rather then doing anything new I've been repainting the Judges as I was never happy with them with the straight yellow/black.

I've now been repainting and adding in extra detail.

This is all sparked by me running my annual Judge Dredd game at Bring Out Your Lead.

BOYL14 Judge Dredd Game

This year game is based on  the ''Day the Law Died'' story arc with Chief Judge Cal, SJS, The brainwashed Judges and the Mercenary Klegg facing off against Dredd & Co, The Tutors and various loyal Citizens along with anti-Cal protesters.

So one of my games I'm playing is a 400pts 15mm game using USEME ruleset against Mr Rob.

BOYL15: Oldbowl Championship

‘‘Good evening sports fans and welcome to the Oldbowl Championship pre-match warm up, which this year is sponsored by Ramshackle games. So all is well underway for this years BOYL event at Foundry and for one of the events Captain Crooks is running Deathrace 40,000 event.

Yup more Goblins, looks like I'm a one trick pony atm.. Might have to paint some LE Foundry Fishmen and Imperial Beastmen to break it up a little before I start seeing Greenies in my sleep.

So I heard you liked Goblins..

So the Outcast/Chaos Greenskin force progresses some more, slow and steady with a few Greenies painted a day (There's 100's of the bastards, so a few a day is slow).

As you an see quite a colourful unit/army, trying to take this out of my comfort zone of dark and dirty.

King Furtak Fartage

King Furtak Fartage or the Big Fart to his friends is a Goblin of major girth, so much so he travels with Bek his faithful belly bearer and Chefs Soop & Gore Dion.

Furtak once challenged the Infamous Grom of the Misty Mountains to a greased Squiglette eating contest which he promptly lost dew to Groms ability's from eating Troll meat.

Foundry Giant Troll WIP

So a quick break from my BOYL14 update to bring you a WIP on my first figure being painted for BOYL15. It also happens to by one I bought at BOYL14 so quite suitable.

As we all know I'm colleting up a Chaos Infested Greenskin force, so what better then to have a large corrupted Troll? Ok.. 2 would indeed be better but another will be added to my lead pile at some point.

Anyway this big boy is by John Pickford and is a sculpt with such character.

There he is in his naked glory, ignore all the LE Fishmen.. they are for another project. And stop staring at my Dettol jar!

The BOYL15 Outcast Greenskin Project

What?? We haven't even had BOYL14 and you are thinking bout next years??? Yep! I have a plan and a slow burn project in mind that I've always wanted to do, Outcast Chaos infused Greenies led by Hobgoblins! What's not to like.

This has been in the back of my mind for a little while now, when I did the 3 background posts (Linked below) the craving grew.
