Darth Vader: There will be a substantial reward for the one who finds the Millennium Falcon. You are free to use any methods necessary but I want them alive - no disintegrations! 

Boba Fett: As you wish. 

This is a non-cannon game based on a possible alternative story arc. Boba has tracked Solo down to a backwater planet of  ZAN IV. 

ZAN IV has a small Rebel base used as a training grounds for new and rather green Rebels and as such is rather limited in it resources and Blasters. Boba is also only leading a scouting force of Stormtroopers and as such are also lightly equipped

So tonight at my local gaming club (Watford Wargaming Federation) I'm getting to play a game of SWMB2 for the first time and with another willing victim.. er ..er opponent.

Now as its our first time (Cue candles and mood lighting) we are keeping it small and somewhat easy as I'm also providing both sides and I hate playing with unpainted toys I just went with what I had all ready painted and rushed a couple more Rebels though to even the odds.

Oh the puns are strong with me! And you love it you tart!

Have no fear the WEG Star Wars project is alive and well and I've just been busy painting up other toys and been a wee bit sick. But I still been buying and trading for them an now sitting on a small horde of WEG figures. Highlights include 30 odd Stormtroopers, all the main cast, The Emperor & some Royal Guard and much much more.

Anyway heres whats painted so far, except the Imperial Droid which got missed out the pictures.. no doubt pretending he was a Assassin Droid and hiding.

WEG Star Wars - Luke & Rebel Troopers, Plus more Stormtroopers

Progress continues on the 2 SWMB forces with the Rebellion gaining both Luke and a small squad of Rebel Troopers.

Nice little figures if a tad fiddly to paint, you may also noticed I changed their uniform to one which I prefer, ohhh I'm such a Rebel (Get it? hehe) not painting everything to cannon

WEG Star Wars - More Stormtroopers, Boba Fett & Chewbacca

So dispite being distracted by new and tasty pictures of the WIP Evil Space Dorf  greens, progress on my Star Wars.. addiction? continues.

First 5 501st ''Vaders Fist'' Stormtroopers are finished along with Boba Fett and Chewie, both were used to break up painting the white. While painting white isn't too bad it still takes awhile.

It's been all go the last few days painting the WEG goodies I've been getting in trades/sales, as it's all been coming in piecemeal I've been choosing bits to paint almost at random.

But I have finished a few bits and I'm quite pleased with them, gaming standard is the key here for not going crazy painting a smaller scale then most my chosen Sci Fi (Too be fair though I have done alot of 6mm, 15mm and 20mm so you'd think I be used to painting small by now eh?)
