Sadly no new painting has been done this week, it's been fecking hot down London way and I've spent most the time in my undies identifying as a puddle.

But the good thing is because I havn't posted on this Blog much that I have a host of older projects I've not shown before.

And today's offerings are my old Chaos Dwarf force.

The Northern Wastes Dwarfs of Chaos:

It includes at least 11 different miniature companies Chaos Dwarfs for a real chaotic looking force.

Though like most of my stuff has been sold off, still can't complain.. well I can not that it would matter.

Anyway welcome too the Blog of vice and dice, putting the mid into Midhammer and feeling so Old my hammer broke.

Now progress has been made into my 2nd Ed 40k journey, heavy metal packages have been turning up and the postman is pissed

I've tried this before coming back to the Oldhamster/Midhamster scene and it failed.

Why?

Simple, the dickheads I hate are still here and the friends I made either moved on or not quite the same, or maybe I'm not quite the same who the fuck knows.

So what's changed this time I hear to cry out to the Chaos Gods!

Well my gaming is mostly done in London these days at Wargaming stores like Dark Sphere and Bad Moon Cafe playing MESBG.

It was at one of these stores where I met a group of 40k players, but hear me out they were playing 2nd Edition with lovely bright old warhammer and they not only knew of the Oldhammer Community were active members and have get togethers!

Fuck me, I'm home.

It's been a few weeks since my last Blog post and that's just due to the weather getting and I use the scientific term here ''Fecking Cold'' and my hands not wanting to do what they'll told.

But I have managed to get a couple of games of 40k in with my Traitor Guard and painted a few more bits for my Twilight Kin.

I don't know about you feckers but I enjoy a Army shot when people are doing WIP Blogs just to show you how things are coming along so today's post is just that.

So despite my Mother and Aunt being up from Devon taking up alot of my free time I've still managed a small amount of hobby time and most of it with the Dark Elves.

A merging of interests I guess, as you may well know I love both WhFB3 era Dark Elves and Kings of War.

So why not combine them?

Now in KoW Evil Elves are known as Twilight Kin and in current lore (Subject to change at somepoint) are aligned with the Abyss.

So Demons and Evil Elves, whats not too love?

Now I already had some Dark Elves painted from a few years ago in a 2 tone paint scheme that I liked at the time but my paintings improved from then so needed repainting.

The Random Cultist Project

So while no doubt your'll be seeing a few Salute 2016 Blog posts today from various people I decided not to go (Well Ok the empty Bank Account did hehe).

So instead I've spent the day sorting out my projects and finishing up a few odds and sods for the almost completed armies (Warmaster Orcs, Abyssal Dwarfs & Evil Dead Undead).

What I did find in the back of my Hobby Draw/Lead Pile is a single sprue of Frostgrave Cultists that I picked up of Ebay around last Xmas time.

Back to War.. master?

So last Orctober I started up a LotR themed Orc army and other then a couple of games they saw little action.

I think I lost interest dew to not having much selection to choose from and despite ordering a few more bits they came too late and the bug was gone to another project.

Well all I can say there is nothing like losing your job combined with a upcoming game to give the spark back.

So the last few days I've painted up a few units and tidied up some others, plus I cleaned and prepped a few more units ready for the paint brush.
