As with all the others for this project the Heroes all had a painting time limit of just 20mins each to stop myself going crazy.
The sculpts are really bad and the paint job isn't much better but at least they are done. Can't have unpainted Heroes running around eh?
The Elf was painted more Drow like rather then a standard Elf or Welf
Chaos Warriors and more Undead to paint next, Return of the Witch Lord campaign starts on Wednesday :)
You got me hankering after a game now. I have the Witch King quest book lurking around here somewhere as well as Kellar's Keep.
ReplyDeleteStill need to get most of the expansions myself, expensive buggers.
DeleteLuckily mine had survived from when I was a nipper - not the boxes though unfortunately.
DeleteNearly had a heart attack when I saw what the Ogre Horde goes for!
Yep if I went out and bought a copy of Ogre Horde I'd be sleeping on the sofa for weeks heh
DeleteI really like that idea of painting the elf as a drow, suits the mini and makes a nice change ! Hats off.
ReplyDeleteIt was more the fact I couldn't be arsed to get get the greens and browns out of the paint box ;)
DeleteI'm trying to hold the line on not hauling this out of storage and starting to paint the figs. I have enough projects on the go.......
ReplyDeleteInspiring stuff though. Really brings me back.
Don't start it... theres so many of the buggers hehe
DeleteI really like how these turned out. I second the drow idea. I really like the wizard's outfit choices. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks he is rather erm.. feminine
DeleteGawds the elf and barbarian were shite sculpts....
ReplyDeleteThe dwarf though, not bad.
Nice speed painting!
Aye all rather dated, but could be worse for a 1980's boardgame heh
DeleteWHAT! "Sculpts are really bad"???? I wont hear it!!
ReplyDeleteNah, lets be honest, if you can make these look good you can paint anything =)
And you sir, made them look good!
