What! What! What!
Yup you ever have that perfect day where everything falls just into place.. well today was mine.
I've been honoured to deal many a people in my wargaming life, from the power gamers and the collectors, to the painters and the traders.
But today I got given a Spined Dragon just because I happened to always want one and my hard work . .
Now anyone want to give me a Chicken Dragon? heheh
Ummmmmm, I'm gonna say a good reward but ALSO Lucky Git!
ReplyDeleteHehehe aye, also got something else too but that's for a future post and project.
DeleteWoah! Yup.
ReplyDeleteWell said hehe ;)
DeleteFirst , I will shake you hand with respect for you diserve it, then I'll crush it and squeeze it to pulp with jealousy because youv'e already been offered a LE fimlir and now a Great Spined Dragon!
ReplyDeleteNah, forget about the jealousy shit, well done mate, she's a beauty, take your time and enjoy painting her. I'm actually glad this one will be painted soon and will not stay naked in a dark lonely box...
Also given a box of shiney toys too... I mean um..er... watch this space!
DeleteWell this is interesting. I won one on ebay for relatively cheap compared to pricing on the oldhammer forum as recommended and past auctions I could find on EXACTLY THE SAME DAY as you got given yours. Considering we are the youngest two (or two of the youngest) posters on those forums and we acquired a great spined dragon on the same day, I take that as an auspicious concurrence.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you using yours for? Mine will be used to represent a Tyranid Crone or a Winged Hive Tyrant in my rogue trader era tyranids (who have a few earlier coded models to fill appropriate looking gaps in the models from rogue trader).
Heh aye the price listed on the forum is for a NiB Spined Dragon, a more realistic price is around £80. So if you got it cheaper then that well done bud :) Just goes to show bargain hunters can still hit it big. As for the youngest members there a few mid/late 20's on there, but aye age doesn't matter too much on there which is nice. Mine is going in my WhFB3 Collection, most likely be gamed with my Undead/Dark Elves and Chaos/Secret project later on.
DeleteThere was one up on ebay last week for 175 - i was surprised no one bid on it till the last day - and the 175 walked and won. was real surprised there was no bidding war to be seen. unlike that recent chicken dragon that was up. i can't believe these things still exist unpainted... Good Job Sir.
ReplyDeletenow let's see it painted!
RESIN45
